Lloyd Walton, MSOM, LAc

Lloyd Walton specializes in Orthopedic Pain and Stress Management to help patients reach a healthy, balanced, and pain free life.

He received a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine while attending the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) where he learned Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and developed an interest in orthopedic acupuncture. He also received certification in Auricular Acupuncture at The Medical Studies Group in Lyon, France and incorporates this specialized therapy into his treatments. Auricular therapy offers another layer of pain relief by managing the electrical signals from the body to the brain. Placement of needles on the ear is unique to every individual and often provides relief within minutes.

Before joining Asian Therapeutics, Lloyd provided acupuncture along side physical therapists to assist patients who suffered from acute and chronic pain. He treated patients who had pain due to accidents, repetitive stress, and athletic injury, for example.

Lloyd has also been a public educator, working many years with elementary students in the Bay Area. He served the communities teaching kindergarten through fifth grade general subject as well as specialized classes for science and visual arts.

Lloyd Walton is a contracted provider for Sutter Physicians Alliance and is licensed to practice acupuncture by the California Acupuncture Board. (Lic. #17526)
